After launching Protégé Painless Stilettos, one of the most popular requests for future designs was a heel that’s lower in height with a pointed toe. Your feedback inspired the Protégé Painless Slingback.
With all the comfort features of the Painless Stilettos (excluding the toe post), the Painless Slingback is our first close-toed design. Relative to the Painless Stilettos, the Painless Slingback is almost 1 inch shorter in heel height and ⅛ inch wider in the toe area. With a durable yet comfortable leather upper, the Painless Slingback will conform to your foot shape over time and prove a reliable wardrobe staple.

I had always loved the aesthetics of high heels, but couldn't wear them due my pain-sensitive feet.
So I set out to tackle the problem of 'my feet hurt!' with my background in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and 8 yrs of product design experience.
