After launching Protégé Painless Stilettos, one of the most popular requests for future designs was a heel that’s lower in height and wider in the toe area. Your feedback inspired the Protégé Painless Block Heel.
With all the comfort features of the Painless Stilettos, the Painless Block Heel comes with a versatile bow that you can wear on the back of the shoe, the side of the shoe, or removed altogether. You can even wear the bow in your hair with a bobby pin. Relative to the Painless Stilettos, the Painless Block Heel is about ½ inch shorter in heel height, ⅛ inch wider in the toe area, and also longer in the forefoot area. With a durable satin upper, the Painless Block Heel is truly an everyday essential for all-day wear.

I had always loved the aesthetics of high heels, but couldn't wear them due my pain-sensitive feet.
So I set out to tackle the problem of 'my feet hurt!' with my background in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and 8 yrs of product design experience.
